The Zirconia Sliding Bearing is an advanced engineering component manufactured from high-purity, Yttria-Stabilized Zirconia ceramic. Representing the pinnacle of plain bearing technology, it is specifically designed to withstand the most extreme and demanding operating conditions. Unlike traditional metal or polymer bearings, it combines exceptional wear resistance, perfect corrosion resistance, and excellent high-temperature stability, making it the ideal solution for applications where lubrication is impossible or the environment is highly aggressive.
- Exceptional Wear Resistance: High Hardness & High Toughness: Zirconia offers extreme hardness, while its unique "transformation toughening" mechanism grants it fracture toughness far superior to other ceramics. It effectively resists abrasive wear and impact loads, resulting in an exceptionally long service life.
- Ultimate Corrosion Resistance: Chemical Inertness: It is perfectly resistant to most strong acids, strong alkalis, and organic solvents, completely free from rust or chemical corrosion, enabling stable operation in highly corrosive media.
- Excellent Self-Lubrication & Low Friction: Under boundary lubrication and dry-running conditions, Zirconia exhibits a relatively low coefficient of friction against various counterfaces, enabling smooth operation, especially during start-up and shutdown.
