Product Overview

The Silicon Carbide Gear Shaft is an advanced ceramic component manufactured from high-performance Silicon Carbide. This monolithic design integrates a gear with a shaft, combining the exceptional properties of SiC—including extreme wear resistance, corrosion resistance, high rigidity, and lightweight characteristics—to address the challenges of wear, corrosion, and lubrication faced by traditional metal gear shafts in harsh operating environments.

Working Principle
As a core component in drive systems, the SiC gear shaft transmits torque and motion efficiently through its precision-machined teeth meshing with a mating gear. Its superior performance stems from the material's intrinsic properties: 
  • Superior Hardness & Wear Resistance: Significantly extends service life in abrasive conditions.
  • Low Friction Coefficient: Ensures smooth operation with various counter materials, approaching self-lubrication in certain applications.
